I photographed the wedding of Will’s beautiful sister last December, and I was thrilled to hear that Will was now planning to propose to his dear Erica.

On a warm August evening just before the sun set, after having dinner at The Lodge at Sea Island, Will walked Erica down the avenue of oaks and asked her to be his wife. After a pop of champagne, their joyous parents joined them to congratulate and celebrate with them.

I consider it such an honor and a JOY to get to be with families at such beautiful moments! Congratulations, Will and Erica!

P.S. I made that little bouquet. I’ve recently started watercolor painting and learning how to arrange flowers, and these two creative pursuits make my heart sing!
