Mikaela and Tom: Spring Elopement in downtown Savannah

Mikaela and Tom married on a day in May that was dotted with showers. They were set to marry in Whitefield Square. It was hard to tell whether it would be raining at ceremony time.

As their guests gathered, so did the heavy dark storm clouds. But not a drop fell until after the ceremony, after photos, and just as we snapped the last one, the thunder clapped and fat drops started falling as we raced for the trolley.

The storms rolled through and their guests gathered at Cha Bella to celebrate. Family members competed to hold the couple’s beautiful baby, Cici At long last, she fell asleep and her parents put her to sleep in a pack-n-play.

Such a perfect day for one of the sweetest families ever.
