Gillian and Bill’s luxury Savannah wedding was filled with love–love that was evident in every look, touch and kiss they shared.

Just as present, was another love: the deep bond between Gillian and her father, George. That connection revealed itself in quiet moments and thoughtful details woven throughout the wedding.

Wedding Florals Inspired by Art

During the planning process, Gillian found inspiration in the wire floral artwork of @passionflowersue. Drawn to the intricate beauty of these designs, she dreamed of a bouquet with a similar design. Having a background in art and knowing her father’s remarkable ability to create anything he set his mind to, Gillian asked him to collaborate with her on a custom wedding bouquet. What father would say no to that?

Together, Gillian and George designed and crafted a bouquet that perfectly complimented the wedding florals by Moss and Magnolia. The vibrant colors and distinctive design echoed the artistry found throughout the day, adding to the carefully considered details Gillian brough to life for an extraordinary luxury celebration.

Her Look:

Planning a January wedding in Savannah meant preparing for unpredictable, often chilly weather. After falling in love with her wedding gown, Gillian used her artistic eye to alter the dress to suit both her personal style and the season.

Her gown, designed by Justin Alexander, featured a square neckline with sheer, long sleeves and a fitted silhouette. Leaf-like appliques adorned the bottom of the dress, adding texture and movement. She completed the look with a long veil, edged with matching appliques that beautifully tied the ensemble together.

A Cathedral Wedding Ceremony in Savannah

The couple’s cathedral wedding was both beautiful and celebratory. The celebration continued at the Charles Morris Center, where guests gathered for an evening filled with dancing and friendship.

An Elegant Wedding Reception

During the toasts, Georga reminisced about Gillian as a young girl, comparing her to a Stradivari violin–one of the most precious and valuable instruments in the world. He spoke of how deeply he cherished his daughter and how confident he was that Bill would treasure her just as much. It was a touching moment, leaving many guests wiping away tears.

Heartfelt Toasts and a Musical Celebration

The Stradivari reference proved to be a fitting prelude to the evening’s entertainment. The Synergy Twins brought incredible energy to Gillian and Bill’s wedding reception, performing on electric violins alongside a DJ. Their dynamic performance had guests singing, dancing and celebrating well into the night, creating a truly unforgettable Savannah wedding experience.

Congratulations Gillian and Bill! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
