I've been drawn to photography from my earliest memories, the ones I remember only because my mom was taking photos while my dad played with with us in the snow. (I was born in the beautiful mountains of Virginia.)
Taking a fleeting moment and preserving it has always been magical to me. In the last year of his life, when my father had dementia, my sister and I had the idea of taking our wedding albums to show him. His face instantly lit up as he pointed to the photos and laughed, telling us what he remembered of those special days. What a treasure.
Before weddings, I studied and worked in journalism. I've always loved story telling. My mentors in the news business taught me to be a keen observer, to watch for the quiet moments unfolding just beyond the obvious ones. That way of seeing still guides my work today.
I photograph wedding days with a calm, observant presence, allowing the day to move as it was meant to while staying closely attuned to emotion, fashion, and atmosphere. I'm especially drawn to celebrations that (no matter the size or scale) have a feeling of intimacy - beautifully-planned celebrations that feel deeply personal.
What matters most to me is presence. I remember once seeing the mother of the groom gently guiding her mother-in-law - grandmother of the groom, who happened to be blind - to her place as we took family photos. Her gentleness and attentiveness just spoke to me about their relationship, a beautiful example of loving not only your partner, but their family as well.
At a recent wedding, I loved seeing the bride's niece slipping bangles onto her pudgy, toddler arm as they prepared for the Hindu marriage ceremony. I love catching the parents embracing as they wave off the newlyweds at the end of the night, always a poignant moment. These are the moments that last, and the ones I photograph with intention.
My work is clean, timeless and attuned to emotion and feeling. I love finding magical light and taking a candid moment and elevating it with how I frame it. I care just as much about trust - earning it, honoring it and moving through the day in a way that feels supportive and unobtrusive.
I'm based in Savannah and photograph weddings in the coastal low country from Sea Island and St. Simons to Hilton Head and Charleston.
I've been drawn to photography for as long as I can remember - not only for how it looks, but for how it feels. Before weddings, I worked in Journalism, learning to notice the quiet moments unfolding just beyond the obvious. That way of seeing still guides my work today.

My work is clean, timeless and emotionally-attuned. I care as much about trust and presence as I do about light and composition, moving through the day in a way that's supportive and unobtrusive.

I enjoy working in thoughtful, collaborative environments - supporting your vision while guiding my team throughout the weekend.
I'm comfortable working within complex, carefully-planned timelines, and I approach each wedding with flexibility and care. I reach out to videographers and content creators in advance to make sure we work seamlessly.
My goal is to capture the weekend as it unfolds, honoring both the design and the emotion, so that every detail, every connection, and every quiet moment is preserved. I strive to be the kind of photographer who feels like part of the team: present, attentive and quietly in service of the celebration you've so carefully created.
My goal is to support your vision
