College Sweethearts: A Love that Started with Friendship

Grace and Will’s wedding was a party at the Jepson Center, but their love story began in college. They hit it off right away and their connection was easy and effortless. After graduation, life took them in different directions–literally–as they found themselves living on opposite sides of the country. Despite the distance, their bond remained strong. They visited each other often, navigating long phone calls and time zones, and supported one another in every way. For Grace, the strength of their connection through those years apart was one of the many reasons she knew Will was the one.

After several years of long distance, Grace and Will finally managed to relocate to the same city. It was there, in the place they could finally call home together, that Will surprised Grace with a proposal. He secretly arranged for their families to come into town, and during a special dinner, surrounded by the people they love most, he got down on one knee and asked Grace to be his wife. It was a beautiful, emotional moment–one that perfectly reflected the thoughtfulness and care Will put into everything he does.

Choosing a Unique Wedding Venue: The Jepson Center

When it came time to plan the wedding, Grace and Will knew they wanted something unique–something that truly reflected their relationship. They chose the Jepson Center, part of the Telfair Museums in Savannah, Georgia as their venue. A stunning modern art museum in the heart of the historic city, the Jepson Center, offered them perfect blend of contemporary style and Southern charm. It wasn’t your typical wedding venue, and that was exactly why they loved it. Grace put it best: “Our goal is to plan and have a RAGING party with our friends and families where we happened to get married in the middle”.

After a morning spent getting ready with their bridal parties, Grace and Will met for a first look in Telfair Square. In this quiet moment together, the couple exchanged private vows before the formal ceremony. For the ceremony, Grace descended a flight of white marble stairs as a vision of beauty and joy. Will waited for her in front floor-to-ceiling windows that offered of a view of Savannah’s historic beauty. With the soft glow of natural light streaming in, they exchanged vows in a ceremony that was both romantic and full of laughter.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued just a short walk away at the Telfair Academy. This gorgeous two-story mansion, rich with history and filled with stunning artwork and classical sculptures, set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Grace and Will hosted an incredible party for their loved ones, complete with delicious food and a packed dance floor. It was a day full of laughter, dancing and meaningful moments–everything they had hoped for and more.

Congratulations, Grace and Will! We wish you a lifetime of happiness.
