With its rich history and beautiful surroundings, it’s no wonder the couple chose this magnificent venue for their destination wedding. From the moment Josie and Jordan arrived in Savannah for their engagement session their love and deep connection was obvious. There was so much joy on their wedding day as they celebrated, and Beaulieu was an amazing choice to host their dream wedding.
Beaulieu is Close to Savannah and Her Historic Charms
Savannah’s charm and beauty were an integral part of Josie and Jordan’s wedding day experience. Josie began her wedding day in style at the Hamilton-Turner Inn, a luxurious boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District. Dating back to 1873, the inn exudes old-world elegance, and it provided the perfect place for Josie and her bridesmaids to gather and prepare for the day ahead. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and laughter as the bridal party helped Josie get ready, setting the tone for a joyful and love-filled celebration.
Beaulieu’s Estate Home
Upon arrival at Beaulieu on her wedding day, Josie and her bridal party were immediately captivated by the estate’s grandeur and charm. The main house is timeless with its elegant white columns and romantic ambiance. With soft light filtering through the windows, Josie slipped into her gown and dressed for her big day. One of the most memorable features of Beaulieu is the stunning balcony overlooking the Vernon River, which provided the perfect setting for bridal photos.
Cottages for The Groom and Groomsmen
Jordan and his groomsmen spent the morning preparing in a charming cottage located on the estate. Surrounded by oak trees draped in Spanish moss, it was not only a relaxed and masculine atmosphere for Jordan and his groomsmen, it also was perfect for stunning photos.
Exquisite Grounds for Stunning Wedding Photos
One of the most striking features of Beaulieu is its breathtaking grounds, which provided a beautiful backdrop for every moment of Josie and Jordan’s wedding. The ceremony was held on the lawn between the main house and the river, with views in every direction that took guests’ breath away. After the ceremony, Josie and Jordan took advantage of the estate’s natural beauty to capture intimate couple photos. The majestic oak trees created the ideal setting for portraits capturing the love of the day.
Limited Number of Weddings
Beaulieu hosts only a limited number of weddings each year, ensuring that each couple receives the attention, privacy, and intimacy they deserve. Josie and Jordan were able to enjoy their wedding day in a way that could not be matched at other more public venues.
The couple’s cocktail hour, set in a beautifully designed outdoor area, was filled with joy and laughter as guests mingled and celebrated. The estate’s private setting allowed for meaningful conversations with friends and family reconnecting and enjoying the stunning surroundings. The intimate atmosphere also allowed for a traditional touch—Josie and Jordan buried bourbon to bring good weather to their wedding day. After digging it up, the couple and their bridal party celebrated with a shot of bourbon, marking a special moment in the day.
Beaulieu is a Unique Venue
The reception at Beaulieu was a true reflection of Josie and Jordan’s style and vision for their wedding day. Working closely with their wedding planner, Allison Event Design, they transformed Beaulieu into a stunning celebration space under a magnificent tent lit with elegant chandeliers. Tables were set with rows of hydrangeas and encouraged guests to sit and enjoy a night filled with celebration. The reception was filled with laughter and joy, as Josie and Jordan danced the night away with their loved ones.
