Ainsley + Bryce’s Southern wedding story began years before their wedding day. Growing up, their families were friends, and their paths crossed often. It wasn’t until college, though, that their connection and love grew. Bryce remembers seeing Ainsley at a party and thinking she was “the prettiest thing”, while Ainsley knew he was the one when “he made me laugh and made me the happiest”.

As their relationship grew, Bryce began planning a proposal that reflected their love for the water. He arranged to take Ainsley out on the water, with plans for their families to meet them afterward on River Street. But an unexpected storm rolled in, shifting everything. Not wanting to wait any longer, Bryce proposed just before the rain began, later sharing that he simply “couldn’t wait to spend forever with Ainsley.”

The Ring

Ainsley’s ring is a stunning oval-shaped diamond, surrounded by a double halo on a gold band. It is timeless, elegant exactly what she envisioned!

A Southern Wedding at Dawson Farms

Planning their dream wedding was easy, since Ainsley’s family owns Dawson Farms, a beautiful wedding venue located in Ludowici, Georgia, just outside of Savannah. The property offers a perfect setting for a Southern wedding, with expansive grounds and a thoughtfully designed event space.

The barn features a spacious bridal suite, creating a relaxed environment for getting ready and spending meaningful time with the bridal party. From a wedding photography perspective, the space provides a soft natural light and clean, classic backdrops ideal for capturing both candid and editorial-style moments.

Thoughtful Details

Every detail of Ainsley and Bryce’s wedding day was intentional. From personalized perfume bottles to custom socks chosen for each groomsman, each element reflected their personalities and the relationship they value most. These details are more than decor; they help tell the full story of a wedding day through photography.

The Ceremony & Celebration

Set against the backdrop of over 700 acers, the ceremony space was both expansive and intimate. Guests were seated on wooden benches, facing a beautifully decorated gazebo adorned with soft floral arrangements. As Ainsley walked down the aisle, the setting perfectly framed the moment. It was classic, understated and a true Southern wedding.

The evening continued with celebration, dancing and time spent with family and friends. One of the most meaningful moments of the night was their sparkler exit in Ainsley’s grandfather’s classic car. He originally purchased the car at just 15 years old, took his future wife on their first date in it, and later restored it for their 50th anniversary. Incorporating it into the wedding, especially since it matched the wedding colors, added both history and sentiment to the day.

A Timeless Southern Wedding

From beginning to end, Ainsley and Bryce’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of their story, rooted in family, filled with thoughtful details, and set in a timeless Southern landscape.

Congratulations Ainsley + Bryce. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
