Apoorva and Patrick’s love story is a beautiful picture of devotion, support and unwavering love. What began as a partnership during medical school, over time, transitioned to a first date. From there, a lifetime connection began to take shape.

Their good friend Claire, who also officiated their Christian wedding ceremony, shared the heart of their relationship perfectly:
"I watched how seamlessly and gracefully Patrick became Apoorva’s biggest supporter and grounding presence. Whether it was an upcoming medical school exam, health challenges with family, or the remote control getting lost within the couch cushions, Patrick was there, patiently listening, and reassuring Apoorva it would be okay.
And I watched how Apoorva would drop any and everything to be there for Patrick. Whether sitting with him for hours editing an application or gathering an army of family and friends to be present with him in the hospital during some of the most stressful times, there was no barrier too big for her love and support.
A few months into dating, Patrick took the initiative to set up online video lessons to learn Telugu. It's quiet acts like these where Patrick shows his love and devotion to Apoorva that reminds her that no matter how difficult the barrier may seem, they can work it out. A year ago, Patrick joined Apoorva on a trip to India to see her family and used his Telugu to speak to her beloved grandmother - a moment Apoorva shares she will hold dearly in her heart forever."
Their wedding was not just a union of two hearts, but also a blending of two cultures. The couple celebrated with a two-day event filled with meaningful rituals, joy and color–each moment rich with tradition and family connection.
The day before the wedding was devoted to honoring Indian pre-wedding traditions, a celebration full of beautiful and important moments to document. Each event was layered with cultural history, family involvement, and rituals that carried significance far beyond the surface.
The atmosphere was energetic as family members moved through the space, offering blessings, preparing materials and guiding the couple through each step. Bright colors, beautiful fabric, henna, and music created a celebration that intertwined Apoorva’s Indian heritage with the couple’s shared future.
