An Unexpected Beginning
Their love began in an unexpected way–during the COVID-19 pandemic. Siobhan and Danny both joined a dating app hoping to find connection and hopefully, love. Though Siobhan was living in Savannah at the time, she set the dating app location to Boston, Danny’s hometown. What seemed like a small adjustment led to a life-changing match. From the moment Danny saw Siobhan’s profile, he knew he wanted to meet her. Their connection began virtually, with FaceTime dates when Danny discovered that she wasn’t only beautiful, but also smart and funny.
Their first in-person date added a humorous twist. Agreeing to meet at a restaurant, they unknowingly arrived at different entrances, each thinking the other had stood them up. Luckily, they figured it out and found each other, and had a night filled with laughter and connection. The evening solidified what both already felt–this was something real. In fact, the date left such an impression on Siobhan she soon made the decision to move back to Boston, confident she had found something extraordinary.
Wedding Day Joy and Elegance
As their love deepened, so did their desire to build a life together. Their wedding day was a reflection of everything they cherished–love, elegance, fun, and their closest friends. They chose Savannah for her beauty and historic charm as the setting for their luxury wedding. Siobhan had always dreamed of getting married at Perry Lane Hotel, and they were thrilled to secure this luxury venue known for its style and stunning rooftop views.
Under the guidance of planner Megan Elizabeth Events, every detail of the day came together seamlessly. From the quiet moments to the grand celebration and fun reception, Danny and Siobhan were fully present, soaking in each moment with the people they love most.
Siobhan was looked absolutely stunning in a Maggie Sottero gown and when Danny saw her during their private first look, he was completely in awe. His eyes lit up with joy as he took in every detail–her dress, her flowers, her smile. “She’s smart, she’s funny, she’s incredibly beautiful,” he shared. “You just love her for who she is.”
Before the ceremony, the couple exchanged person vows in an intimate moment that perfectly captured their love. With deep emotion and playful laughter, their promises to each other reflected the strength of their commitment and the joy they find in one another.
A Love Worth Celebrating
The ceremony took place on Perry Lane’s rooftop, overlooking the city of Savannah. Led by Rev. Steve Schulte, the service was both touching and celebratory. When Siobhan and Danny were pronounced husband and wife, there were smiles and celebration from the couple and their guests.
As the sun began to set, the celebration moved into the ballroom. There, the couple led their guests onto the dance floor, enjoying an evening of music, laughter and unforgettable memories.
For Danny, the reception was especially meaningful. “It was a time to finally celebrate all the hard work Siobhan put into our wedding,” he said. “And a time to enjoy being surrounded by some of our favorite people.”
From beginning to end, Siobhan and Danny’s wedding was a beautiful blend of romance and fun. Set against the gorgeous backdrop of Perry Lane, it was everything a Savannah luxury wedding should be–beautiful, fun and deeply personal.
