You can’t go wrong planning your day in Savannah. She is a beautiful and welcoming city that is the perfect backdrop to start your forever. Jones Street: one of the most beautiful residential streets in the city
JW Marriott: gorgeous fossils and rocks on display
Jepson Center, Academy, Telfair or SCAD Art Museum
River Street: the best kind of tourist trap but you can get some great views of the water and get a feel for the history of Savannah as you walk along the cobblestone streets
Bonaventure Cemetary: outside of the city but a beautiful place to explore
What to Do:
Shopping on Broughton Street. Be sure to stop at The Paris Market, they sell coffee, pastries and Parisian inspired goods
Stroll through Farmers Market at Forsyth Park (Saturday from 9am-1pm)
Catch a show at Savannah Theater
Visit a historic home (Mercer-William House, Made famous by Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, or the Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters)
