One of the things I’ve always loved about photography is that there’s always something new to learn. It keeps my brain alive, activates my creativity in new ways. And while you can learn through reading and watching online videos, I find that other artists spur me on best.
So, my husband and I packed our bags and headed to Italy, where I met up with other photographers from around the world gathered for a workshop taught by one of the world’s top wedding photographers, Lauren Fair. While I did learn so much in terms of technique and business principles, what I really took away was an understanding that we are the only roadblock between our dreams and our reality. Dream it and it will come? Not necessarily. Believe it and work for it and it will come? Yes, my dear. Yes.
So I’m believing and working toward more fabulous shoots in more fabulous places!
Meanwhile, here’s a fun, flirty elopement shoot we did in gorgeous Positano, Italy. And if you’re in Italy, you have to have a perfect little vintage car!
