Danielle and Yakov hosted an intimate wedding in Savannah, bringing together their very closest family and friends for a lake-side ceremony.
The day started at a Savannah home, where Danielle, her mom and sisters along with Yakov’s parents and brother, got ready. The ladies were upstairs, while downstairs, Yakov and his dad watched sports on TV.
After all were dressed, we drove across town to a gorgeous wedding venue, Red Gate Farms. The lit up the Spanish moss draping the oak trees. Danielle’s sister sang to start the ceremony, and then Danielle’s mom walked her down a hill, where Yakov stood waiting in the shade of a large oak.
After the ceremony, we took portraits in Savannah’s Forsyth Park before heading back to the home, where Yakov’s mother had decorated and created gorgeous florals for the reception.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner, with LOTS Of toasts. Yakov’s family even sang a song his father had written especially for them.
After dinner, Danielle and Yakov cut their cake, made by a family friend, and danced their ceremonial first dance, with Yakov lifting Danielle off her feet as the song ended.
What a PERFECT day!
