A historic Savannah church was the setting for my my last wedding of 2018. And what a way to end the year!
It was an absolutely gorgeous day: a bit cloudy – but we photographers love a that soft, diffused sunlight. And oh-so-warm: in the 70s on December 29!
Katie and Travis said their vows in the historic Church of St. Paul the Apostle, where her father is the rector. The pews, topped with Christmas greenery and candles, were filled with friends and family. The service was filled with beautiful music, readings and reflections that reminded the bride and groom of both the gravity and the joy to be found in the wedding vows they spoke.
A few weeks after the ceremony, Katie and Travis embarked on an African safari honeymoon. And thankfully, Katie is a superb photographer herself so we could all follow along via her Instagram posts.
Here are a few images from the Katie and Travis next-day gallery of 200+ images. (I had SO many favorites from the day!)
