Imagine champagne flutes raised beneath a canopy of live oaks, Spanish moss drifting in the coastal breeze. Picture getting ready in a historic Savannah mansion overlooking one of the city’s iconic squares. A first look at Wormsloe Historic Site, where centuries-old oak trees create one of the most romantic ceremony backdrops in the South. Vows exchanged in a private garden, quietly tucked away from the world.
Whether you’re planning a small, elegant wedding or a private Savannah destination elopement for just the two of you, this city offers a timeless, deeply romantic setting for your marriage.
I offer Savannah elopement photography in two ways: photography-only coverage for couples who have assembled their own vendor team, or a thoughtfully curated Savannah elopement package designed to make planning effortless and refined.
Both options are guided by calm direction, emotional awareness, and imagery that feels natural, editorial, and enduring.
Ideal for couples seeking a Savannah elopement photographer with flexibility and a discreet, experienced presence.

Kind Words
We knew we wanted to elope and chose Savannah after finding Esther. Her photos are beautiful, and she is amazing to work with. Her professionalism is unmatched. She was so kind and offered a warmth that put both my husband and I at ease. It was like being with an old friend. She knew Wormsloe was important to me, and made sure we fit it in the day even though it was a bit out of our way. We could not be more pleased with the way Esther captured the most perfect day. We will treasure our photos forever.

Esther and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end. Maggie, her lovely assistant, was helpful, sweet, and always available if we had any questions. On the wedding day, Esther was absolutely amazing. She took lovely bridal portraits, first look and ceremony photos, as well as gorgeous photos around Savannah. Esther is a master photographer at the top of her craft. If you are looking for a soft yet sublimely romantic style, then look no further!

Savannah Elopement FAQ
Do you offer Savannah elopement packages?
My approach is calm, observant, and gently guided. I’m there to anticipate moments before they happen, to give you space when emotion calls for it, and to step in when direction is helpful.
Elopements often feel deeply personal and unhurried. I encourage couples to slow down, breathe, and truly experience the day—trusting that the photographs will reflect not just how it looked, but how it felt.
No ... and yes. Wormsloe Historic Site doesn't allow ceremonies to take place on the property, however they welcome us to take portraits on the EPIC avenue of oaks. I’m familiar with the site’s layout, lighting, and best timing for privacy and atmosphere, and I work carefully within all location guidelines to ensure a smooth, beautiful experience. And I know another GORGEOUS location nearby that I love taking my couples. It's WAY off the beaten path and completely stunning.
Absolutely. Whether you book photography only or the full elopement package, I’m happy to offer guidance on locations, timing, light, and flow of the day.
For package clients, my team coordinates directly with vendors and creates a detailed timeline so the experience feels effortless from start to finish.
Yes, I do. I photograph elopements at The Cloister on Sea Island as well as other places along the Geogia coast. I also shoot luxury elopements in Charleston, S.C., the East Coast, West Coast as well as internationally.
I recommend reaching out as soon as you’ve chosen a season or date range. Savannah elopements are increasingly popular, especially during spring and fall, and availability is limited to ensure each couple receives a highly personalized experience.
